On November 12, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson announced that Troubled et Relief Program would not acquire mortgage-related ets. In light of this significant change in TARPs mission, the Committee on Oversight held a hearing to determine whether the Treasury was using bailout funds to increase foreclosure prevention, as Congress intended.
