In Arizona they only do a Notice of Sale and it is a 90 day foreclosure. You can look for your county records as stated above but there will be mail that comes to the house. It might not be in your name but it will be sent by a company that says "reconveyance" or "trustee" in the senders name. When you hand it to the landlord call him on it if you see that mail.
References :
foreclosure professional and expert

you can either visit the public records site for your county and do a search on Notice of Foreclosure and try to find the property or use a service like http://www.foreclosuredb.net to easily browse the listings and find your address.
References :
No, the only way you can find out is to ask the Land Lord. He doesn't have to tell you if he doesn't want to.

What difference will it make anyways? You will have to pay the land lord your rent up to the day it exchanges ownership, and then you have to pay the new owner. Maintenance and other things must continue uninterrupted. So what does it matter to you?
