I am also in NV. I paid a local law firm $3000 up front to handle a loan modification. 6 months later I find out that I am in foreclosure and the attorney’s office is just now submitting my info to my lender. I am about to lose my home because of this scam. Be careful

    Feldman Law Center …
Feldman Law Center is a scam. Steven Craig Feldman has a very bad record. Check out his law record with the California State Bar. Also, compair his record to good laywers. His license has been suspended for reasons that demonstrate he is a deadbeat and irresponsible. You can not trust this snake!

    The newly elected …
The newly elected President Barack Obama could enact(once he takes office)to federally mandate long term loan modification’s (interest) on behalf of all Americans with ARM Negative (sub-prime/ deferred interest) mortgage loans (the main reason for foreclosures) at a low interest rate (fixed by the Federal Reserve Bank) for 40 & 50 year’s, depending on income. Leaving it up to the bank’s to do this is akin to putting the fox in the hen house to protect them.

I got a letter of default from my mortgage company after 30 days. Can you believe they threatened to foreclose on me? But my loan is a subprime loan and I think they can do anything they want to do. I am looking into loan modification but I don’t understand why they have to charge between $1400 to $2500 to do this?
