How to avoid foreclosure?

May 26th, 2009 | by admin |

this morning i was cleaning up my house and found a letter to my mom stating that she owes over $9,000 and if it is not paid we will be facing foreclosure. I also know that my mom's bank account holds under $9,000 as she had me get money out of the ATM the other day. I need help or a job for people under 16

Tell mom you found the letter and ask her if there is anything you can do for her. Maybe she will just want to talk or tell you SHE will take care of it.

You are some kind of kid to be so concerned. I hope it all works out for your family.

Nice of you to be concerned, but you mom should be the one to be asking this. She maybe able to contact the company/person that she owes to make a payment plan of some kind to prevent/delay foreclosure. She may also wish to speak with a lawyer to see what options she may have financially in this situation.

You mom should set up an appointment to talk with the lender, there are many workout plans available to stop the foreclosure. Many people are close to or in foreclosure, there is much help provided as long as the homeowners, seek it quick enough.

i think the best way is to contact them and ask if she can set up a payment plan b/c lots of times these companies act like bullies cuz they know people will pay up. she should also ask a pro bono attorney what threats collections agencies are legally allowed to make, since if they arent' allowed to threaten foreclosure she can just sleep peacefully knowing that they are bluffing. if the situation is reallly last minute kind of stuff companies like http://lnk.by/cxj can help save homes from foreclosure. they do free consultations i think
